Adding & Editing Buttons in Divi

Buttons make it easy for visitors to take action, like contacting you or buying a product. Divi’s Button Module lets you create and style buttons quickly.

Step 1 – Enable the Visual Builder

Go to the page where you want a button and click Enable Visual Builder in the WordPress admin bar.

Step 2 – Add or Select a Button Module

  • To add a new button: click the + icon inside your row/column, then choose Button Module.

  • To edit an existing button: hover over it and click the gear icon.

Step 3 – Set the Button Text & Link

In the Content tab:

  • Button Text → type in what the button should say (e.g., “Contact Us” or “Buy Now”).

  • Link → add the URL where the button should go.

Step 4 – Style the Button

In the Design tab, customise your button’s appearance:

  • Font, size, and colour.

  • Background colour.

  • Border radius (rounded corners).

  • Hover effects.

Step 5 – Save the Button

Click the green checkmark in the settings panel, then click Save (bottom-right purple circle).

Step 6 – Exit and Preview

Click Exit Visual Builder to check how your button looks live.

Additional Notes

  • Use Global Presets for consistent button styling across the site.

  • Keep button text short and action-focused (e.g., “Get Started” instead of “Click Here”).

  • Make sure button colours stand out against the background.
