Editing the Footer in Divi

Your footer appears at the bottom of every page and usually contains contact details, links, or copyright text. With Divi, you can edit it using the Theme Builder or directly on the page template.

Step 1 – Log in to WordPress

From WHMCS or /wp-admin, log in to your WordPress dashboard.

Step 2 – Open the Theme Builder

In the left-hand WordPress menu, click Divi → Theme Builder.

Step 3 – Edit the Global Footer

Find the Global Footer area. Hover over it and click the Edit button.

Step 4 – Update Footer Content

Use the Visual Builder to edit text, links, or modules. Common updates include:

  • Contact details (address, phone, email).

  • Navigation links (privacy policy, terms).

  • Copyright text (e.g., © 2025 Localist Free Websites).

Step 5 – Save the Footer Layout

Click the green checkmark inside the editor, then click Save Changes in the Theme Builder.

Step 6 – Check the Live Site

Exit the builder and reload your site. Scroll down to confirm the footer is updated.

Additional Notes

  • Editing the Global Footer updates it across the whole site.

  • You can also create page-specific footers by assigning custom templates.

  • Keep footer links short and useful — don’t overload it.
